“Viola” is a disc pendant by Japan based artist Sakiyo Takeuchi. It features transparent floral and botanical murrine that glows when backlit, allowing the intricate imagery to illuminate through the glass disc. Small flowers, leaves, and scattered botanical elements are arranged throughout the pendant, while the transmitted light causes the colors to shift between soft pastel tones and vivid electric blues and greens.
