Ryoko Tsukurimichi Core Formed Vessel (Recovered)

This is a core formed vessel by Japan based glass artist Ryoko Tsukurimichi. This core formed vessel is one of the rarest pieces of art that survived inside of our building through Hurricane Helene. We had around 15 core form vessel on display and only 4 made it through unscathed. This is one of them. As many of you know, the high water line inside our building was around 15ft. All of the art in the building went underwater and was at the mercy of the river. We lost a lot of art in the storm but this is one of the rare pieces we recovered. These recovered pieces are incredibly special to us and we are excited to share them with you all. Each of them were found inside of our building after the storm, they were taken home with us, cleaned and inspected, before offering them here on our website. We hope you enjoy them!
